About Dubai Islands

A large-scale island development off Deira's coast, Dubai Islands spans five reclaimed islands delivering waterfront living, beach access, and mixed-use infrastructure within Dubai's northern corridor.

Dubai Islands is a five-island reclaimed development positioned off the Deira coastline, formerly known as Deira Islands. The masterplan covers over 17 square kilometres and is designed to deliver a mix of residential, hospitality, retail, and beach destinations.

Location & connectivity

Dubai Islands sits north of Deira, connected to the mainland via the Infinity Bridge and the existing Deira Islands bridge network. The drive to DIFC is approximately 25–30 minutes; Dubai International Airport is roughly 15 minutes by car. The Dubai Metro's Green Line extension to this area has been discussed but is not yet operational — buyers relying on public transit should verify current status before committing.

The development spans multiple island clusters, each with a distinct character. Launched projects include a range of apartments, townhouses, and villas from developers including Nakheel and a growing number of third-party partners.

Parks & leisure

Dubai Islands is planned to deliver over 20 kilometres of beachfront across the five islands — the main draw for buyers. A beach park and water sports facilities are in early operation on Island A. The broader leisure infrastructure, including a golf course rumoured in masterplan documents, remains under development.
