Dubai Creek Harbour

About Dubai Creek Harbour

Emaar's emerging waterfront community at the historic creek — Dubai Creek Tower, Creek Marina, and a new generation of skyline apartments.

Dubai Creek Harbour is Emaar's flagship mixed-use development on the eastern bank of Dubai Creek, approximately 10 km from Downtown Dubai. It is designed to become a self-contained urban district anchored by the Creek Tower and a working marina.

Location & connectivity

The community sits off Ras Al Khor Road (E44), giving direct access to Downtown Dubai in roughly 15 minutes and Dubai International Airport in around 20 minutes. The Dubai Metro's Green Line's Union Square is the nearest major station, though a dedicated metro extension to Creek Harbour is planned but not yet operational. Residents currently rely on private vehicles or taxis for most daily commutes.

Property mix

Residential supply is dominated by mid-to-high-rise apartments across several sub-districts:

  • Apartments & Penthouses: Creek Horizon, Creek Gate, Creek Rise, Harbour Views, Palace Residences, Creek Beach Lotus, Creek Beach Surf, Island Park, Grand Bleu Tower
  • Townhouses: Creek Waters (limited townhouse units)
  • Hotels & Branded Residences: Address Harbour Point, Palace Hotel

Schools

No schools are currently located within Dubai Creek Harbour itself. Nearby options include:

  • Deira International School — ~10-min drive, IB curriculum
  • Dubai Public School Ras Al Khor — ~8-min drive
  • GEMS Our Own Indian School — ~12-min drive, CBSE curriculum
  • Hartland International School — ~15-min drive, IB curriculum

Healthcare

No major hospital sits inside the community yet. Closest facilities include:

  • Mediclinic City Hospital, Dubai Healthcare City — ~15-min drive
  • Rashid Hospital, Oud Metha — ~15-min drive
  • Aster Clinic, Festival City — ~10-min drive

Shopping & dining

The Creek Marina Walk hosts a growing strip of cafés and casual dining, with The Viewing Deck at Address Harbour Point serving as a notable restaurant destination. For grocery shopping, Carrefour at Festival City Mall is the most practical option at roughly 10 minutes away. The community's own retail podium is still maturing, so residents should expect to travel out for major shopping runs.

Parks & leisure

Creek Island Central Park is the main green space, offering waterfront promenades and open lawns directly accessible to residents. Creek Beach provides a sandy beach and pool area specifically for community residents. The nearby Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary — a flamingo reserve — sits less than 5 minutes away and is a genuine attraction.

Things to consider

Dubai Creek Harbour is still actively under construction in large sections, meaning noise, dust, and incomplete amenities are a real day-to-day factor for early residents. Public transport connectivity is limited right now, making car dependency high, and the community's retail and F&B offering remains thin compared to established districts at similar price points.

Highlights

  • Dubai Creek Tower (planned)
  • Creek Marina
  • Creek Beach
