Al Ras is a dense, historic neighbourhood in the heart of Deira, known for its gold and spice souks, Creek-front position, and deeply established urban character.

Al Ras sits at the northern tip of Deira, directly on the Dubai Creek waterfront. It is one of the oldest settled areas in Dubai, functioning today as a commercial and residential district with a strong trading heritage.
