Al Karama is an established residential and commercial district in Bur Dubai, popular with mid-income expats for its affordable rents, walkable streets, and efficient public transport links. It sits between Sheikh Zayed Road and the Creek, giving residents quick access to both old and new Dubai.

Location & connectivity

Al Karama is served by the ADCB and Al Karama metro stations on the Red Line, placing DIFC within a 10-min ride and Downtown Dubai within 15 minutes. By road, Sheikh Zayed Road is accessible in under 10 minutes and Dubai International Airport is roughly a 15-min drive. The area is also highly walkable by Dubai standards, with most daily needs reachable on foot.

Property mix

Al Karama is almost entirely made up of mid-rise apartment buildings, many of which are older stock from the 1980s and 1990s. Villas and townhouses are not found here.
